Yes! LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Michigan is ADA compliant and designed to be accessible for guests of all abilities. Our attraction is fully wheelchair and scooter accessible, and we regularly review our policies to ensure a welcoming experience for everyone.
Here are a few key accessibility features:
- Wheelchair Access: Available throughout the center. Some rides, like Kingdom Quest and Merlin’s Apprentice, require guests to transfer from their wheelchair to the ride vehicle.
- ADA Carer Ticket: A discounted ticket is available for caregivers assisting guests with disabilities. Just ask at admissions upon arrival.
- Visual Impairments: Service animals are welcome in most areas (excluding rides), and guidance is available upon request.
- Hearing Impairments: Our 4D Theater offers wheelchair-accessible seating and scripts upon request.
- Medical Equipment: Oxygen tanks are permitted on Kingdom Quest, but not on Merlin’s Apprentice for safety reasons.
- Sensory Considerations: Some areas, including the 4D Theater, use strobe or flashing lights and may not be suitable for guests with epilepsy or photo sensitivities.
